Privacy Policy

Recap ("the app", "we") is an AI sales coach that records your sales meetings and turns them into score cards, deal-risk signals, and coaching recommendations. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, where it goes, and how you can delete it.
Data we collect and why

Audio recordings are automatically deleted 30 days after the meeting; transcripts and analysis are kept until you delete the meeting or your account. |
| Transcripts, meeting notes, score cards | Stored in your private workspace so you can revisit past meetings, track deals, and (if you choose) share results with your team workspace. |
| Name and email address (from your sign-in provider) | Account identification, workspace membership, and team invitations. If you connect HubSpot and push a meeting, the meeting contact's email is used to match or create the CRM contact. |

No tracking, no ads
Recap does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not sell your data, and includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. Data is used only to provide the app's own functionality.
Service providers
Recap uses these providers to deliver its core features:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, backend functions) — where your account, meetings, and audio live.
- AssemblyAI — processes meeting audio to produce the transcript.
- OpenAI — processes the transcript to extract objections, deal signals, and coaching.
- RevenueCat / Apple App Store — processes subscription purchases. We never see your payment details.
- HubSpot — only if you explicitly connect your own HubSpot account; meeting summaries and contact details you push are sent to your HubSpot.
Team workspaces
Your meetings are private to you by default. If you join a team workspace and tap "Submit to Team" on a meeting, that meeting's score and analysis become visible to your workspace's managers and owner on the team dashboard.
Data retention and deletion
- Meeting audio is deleted automatically 30 days after the meeting.
- Transcripts and analysis are kept until you delete the meeting.
- You can delete your account any time in the app: Account → Delete Account. You can also email us (address below) to request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Children
Recap is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
