Terms of Use
Effective date: July 7, 2026
By using Recap you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your license to the app. Where these terms add to the standard EULA, both apply.
What Recap is
Recap records sales meetings you choose to record and uses AI to produce transcripts, meeting scores, deal-risk signals, and coaching suggestions. AI output can be wrong or incomplete — it is decision support, not professional advice. You remain responsible for your own sales decisions and communications.
Recording consent is your responsibility
Laws about recording conversations differ by country and state; many require the consent of all participants. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording a meeting with Recap. Do not use the app to record people unlawfully.
Your account and content
- You keep ownership of your recordings, transcripts, and notes. You grant us the limited right to process them with our service providers (transcription, AI analysis, storage) solely to provide the app's features.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- If you submit a meeting to a team workspace, its analysis becomes visible to that workspace's managers and owner.
Recap Pro subscription
- Recap Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual), purchased through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or via the "Manage Subscription" link in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful recording, no attempts to break or overload the service, no reselling access, and no uploading content you have no right to process.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost deals, or lost profits arising from use of the app or from AI-generated analysis.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Account → Delete Account).
